Because they are so small, many of the 'patterns' are actually templates, intended to be traced onto the wrong side of the fabrics. Then they become the stitching lines. Making such tiny outfits was a major challenge so is best undertaken by someone with considerable sewing experience.
Today I'm releasing all the patterns for my recent House Elf outfits. It also includes the patterns for Willie's ragged and Christmas Elf outfits... For such small characters there certainly are a LOT of patterns. Seven pages in all. To download the pdf click on the button below.... The patterns are also at the bottom of the House Elf Costume Gallery 2022 page, where you can get a better look at all the individual outfits. There's also some under construction photos and tips there. However, there are no detailed instructions, so you are on your own. The outfits are all so cute, it makes me wish I had some house elves I could make them for! Even though I don't have any eleves, I'll say thank you for being so generous with everyone for sharing your patterns the way you do!

Also a thank you for your generosity! I ALSO don't have any house elves, but I DO sew, but I'm thinking these are too small for me to attempt. I embarked on a "project" for my granddaughters in that I will make an outfit (of their request) each month. They have Wellie Wishers and 18" dolls and a couple of baby dolls. They BOTH requested outfits for their WWs and that's about as small as I'm comfortable sewing for. How big (tall?) are the house elves?

The House Elves are 14.5 cm tall, which is about 5 3/4". Comments are closed.
