Another look back at a Christmas gone by, this time with Tedros and Carina. These dolls are so beautiful, but don't get out much, so I thought I'd reminesce and look back, and rework some of the best photos from their Christmas photo shoot from a few years ago... I seriously need to take more photos of these two....
December 9th is National Pastry Day, and even though I've taken photos for it before, that was three years ago, so I felt like doing some new, updated versions. Where to start??
A fond look back at another favourite photo series from two years ago. Starring three little Sugarplum Fairies... ...and a diminutive Nutcracker Prince...
I'm trying to start a hard-cap wig for my Santa. I'm still calling him 'Santa' as long as we aren't past Christmas. If I don't get him done by then, his name will change to 'Wizard'. Anyway, I'm trying the method described in the Whispering Grass tutorial. She uses layers of tulle with polyurethane glue. But I don't have that kind of glue, so am using Gem Tac. It's washable when dry, so should hold together when styling a wig. Only problem is getting the glue to hold on the tulle, as there really isn't a lot of 'surface' for the glue to stick to. Relaxing at the spa....
Today is St. Nicholas Eve, and here's some of my favourite photos from his last visit... ....filling the wooden shoes with hay, apples and carrots for his horse... Hiding, and waiting for his arrival... The whole story is HERE.
I'm busy sewing doll clothes, while Jan decorates the house. So I thought I'd share a few
older photos from my archives, to help everyone get in the mood for the holidays.. |
