Look who came home yesterday.... He's doing really well, and is glad to finally be home. It's still going to take a while before he's fully recovered, but at least he's back home . And today is also our youngest son's birthday, born on this day 34 years ago.... Happy Birthday Mikey!! In this time of social isolation, we are so thankful that Mikey and Tanya have been here for us the past four weeks, and since they can't be around anyone else right now, they'll be coming over later today for a little 'party' with just the four of us.
Byuri and Nami decided to entertain everyone with a puppet sword fight.... Nami had the Hero.... While Byuri played the Challenger.... Olivia was hungry.... Baron continued to be distracted by Grace....
Good news! He will be coming home tomorrow! It will have been twenty five days since he was taken away in an ambulance, and I've not been able to see him since.
He has improved a lot, and sounds just like his old self on the phone, but he still has a way to go, especially with fine motor skills. He will need to go for out-patient physiotherapy several times per week in yet another hospital. The Home Nursing Care people will be sending a walker, and other items to help with his mobility the first month. The doctors say most patients who had what he had do make a full recovery, but it will take a bit of time. So here's hoping! I've started another Medieval gown. I do like Yvette on the gold one, but I'm finding she's getting blown out in photos with all the other dolls, so I'm making a darker blue gown to make her photograph better. The underdress is a light blue brocade, and the overdress is a dark blue velour with a sparkly leaf design.... Someone asked how an FID guy, with his head on a JID body, would work with the FID ladies, so I did a little switcheroo so she could see for herself....
After introducing some BIDs to my FIDs, it was time to try some KIDs. I only have two Medieval Fantasy outfits that size, so chose the two KIDs who aren't attached to any families already - David and Paige. Then put them into the castle scene with all my FIDs.... Bianca was at the table talking with Lawrence and Monica.... Grace and Baron were getting to know each other better.... While all the children were gathered round the King's dog.... "Excuse me ladies,I need to go see if the dog is okay..." And he went over to see that everyone was getting acquainted safely.... "He's a wolf, isn't he??" "Yes he's a wolf, but he'd never hurt any of you..." Meanwhile Paige had gone over to the table with all the ladies.... Now I'm thinking that some of my 'orphan' BIDs and KIDs might just have found some parents, although the only couple qualifying right now would be Monica and Lawrence. David, with his red hair, could become their son. Only thing is, Ringo is David's younger brother, and I'm not sure how Lawrence would react to him becoming little Prince Pouty Pants. LOL
Nami and Paige are sisters, so would have to stay together as well. And then there's still quite a lineup of other unattached BIDs, who can be their friends. Looks like I'm going to be really busy making lots of small Medieval outfits!! Not exactly what I had planned, but one has to go with the flow when inspiration hits. Today we revisit Aaron's birthday party from April 2018.... "Do you call this a party?? Enjoying some old fashioned games.... *the whole Story - Aaron's Birthday
