Update on Jan

4/16/2020

Good news!   He will be coming home tomorrow!   It will have been twenty five days since he was taken away in an ambulance, and I've not been able to see him since.

He has improved a lot, and sounds just like his old self on the phone, but he still has a way to go, especially with fine motor skills. He will need to go for out-patient physiotherapy several times per week in yet another hospital.

The Home Nursing Care people will be sending a walker, and other items to help with his mobility the first month.  The doctors say most patients who had what he had do make a full recovery, but it will take a bit of time.  So here's hoping!

I am so glad! I am sure he will be as happy to be home as you will be to have him - hospitals are not restful places at the best of times.

There are lots of exercises you can do at home for fine motor skills - this may be your opportunity to get all those button tins sorted!

That's wonderful news! Having a convalescent in the house involves a lot of work, but at least he'll be home where you can see him and talk to him. Here's hoping for steady improvement over the coming days and weeks.
