Holly's grandfather had his workspace by the shop window where there was the best light....

I would be a passer-by with my nose pressed to the window. I would want the little carousel. I would beg my mother to buy it for me.

Your photos are making me want to seek out a local vintage shop to see what I can find. I may have to do that this weekend (chuckle).

What, you wouldn't go in? LOL. You'd see way more interesting stuff inside.

It does remind me of a crowded little antique shop too.

There would beat least two nose prints on the window - Dorothy's and mine :o) I'd have my eye on the knight puppet that grandfather is working on.

I hope your photos win the challenge!!

Dear Donna, oh good we can go together! After shopping, we can take Afternoon Tea.

I was looking for something 'steampunk' for him to work on - maybe a little robot - but didn't have anything like that. Then I thought of the knight. I have three of these little knight puppets, purchased at doll shows years ago, and this is the biggest one. I was planning on having my Medieval ladies putting on a show with them at some point.

Oh my gracious! This is fantastic! This might be one of my favorite photo shoots ever! Such a glorious, varied, wealth of items. It must have taken hours to set this up!!! That knight puppet is incredible. And, of course, love how you set up the window aspect with the passers by. Beautiful, inspired work Martha!

Thanks so much! I was rather happy with this series.

It wasn't too bad to set up. In fact it was fun to pull out all kinds of props - some familiar ones, and others that hadn't been used in years - or ever. Just a big 'mix & match' of all kinds of stuff.
