When we were away up north, Dream High Studio released their newest BJD elf - Willie, the House Elf. She reminded me so much of the little gnome characters Marianne and I made many years ago - but in BJD form. I really wanted one, but she was going to be a very limited pre-order, and would likely sell out in just a few hours - if not sooner - just like with their first elf, Aldou. There would definitely not be any left by the time we would be going home.
I brought along my old, unreliable iPad in hopes that we'd be able to find some wifi somewhere in town. Willie was going up for pre-order right after midnight on August 31st, Indonesia time, which we figured was 1 pm August 30th here in Ontario.
We discovered the campground office (house) had wifi on their front porch, so sat there and waited for 1pm. And Jan got in. And he ordered her for me!

She's quite small, about the same height as the two Feegles, and will make a great addition to my Fantasy troupe. She's coming blank, and I might even be tempted to try give her a face up myself. I could never do pretty realistic faces, but something like this might just be doable. Assuming I can see what I'm doing. Anyway, the idea is to turn her into a version of my Prudwyn character (below) - her little sister perhaps.
