I've always loved wildflowers. Years ago when our kids were young and came along on trips, they'd complain that it wouldn't take so long to get somewhere if we didn't have to stop at every wildflower so I could take a picture. I'm sure they were exaggerating, because I honestly didn't have to stop and photograph EVERY one. Just every kind. Well Layla also seemed to enjoy wildflowers, and went around the campground picking a lovely bouquet. She found common vetch, buttercups, orange hawkweed, fleabane, sulphur cinquefoil, and an unidentified tiny pink flower. A girl after my own heart. Copyright © 2022 Martha Boers

Thanks. my favourite eye colours are the blues, greens, and light brown. I don't care for the dark colours at all.

I love wildflowers too but orange hawkweed is an invasive here in AK and the bane of my yard! I pull them when I find them, but I won't use chemicals on them. We have a lot of wild geranium here and that I really like.

We have lots of invasive species here too, but many of them have very pretty flowers.

A beautiful bouquet! There are so many lovely wildflowers growing in Canada. It's nice Layla shares your love of them 😊. I love that final photo.

Thanks. I went around the campground looking for the smallest wildflowers I could find. Big ones like daisies just wouldn't do.
