It had rained most of the day, but the further south we got, the better the weather looked. We arrived at St. Vincent under a sunny sky, in the evening....and the kids were so excited.... None of them had ever seen whales before...and the water seemed full of them.....

Wow, Paige took such wonderful photos of the whales and the children. Thank you Paige for sharing your photos. It's a good thing you had your trusty camera with you.

Your whale photos are stunningly beautiful. Love the way the water sparkles in the sunlight, and that last pic is especially lovely.

Thanks! We'd never seen anything like it before. I must have taken 150 photos those days in an attempt to get a full breach, but I never did. But then there's an excuse to go again another year.

The whales were most active in the evenings, and that's when we were looking straight into the sun, so the second evening we drove to the parking spot at the far west end of the beach, to get better light (not into the sun) Leave a Reply. |
