Lonnie and Lisa looked so pretty back in their Victorian outfits, that I thought I just had to let them go Easter Egg Hunting. Lisa especially liked the blue eggs. "Are they robin eggs?" It's very challenging to take Easter pictures this year. Normally there's some green in the garden, and maybe even some early flowers. But this year, with winter seeming to hang on forever, and even with Easter being so late this year, the garden is still mostly a dead brown, except for a few tulips starting to poke their heads up. And of course, the periwinkle always stays green. So I have to pose the dolls in front of the periwinkle, and with a bit of blur, make it look like the garden is a lot further along than it really is.

Oh they are perfect Easter egg hunt photos and I never would have guessed how hard it had been to take them if you had not said.

Thanks! I'm getting so tired of waiting for spring and the plants to start growing, but all of the next week still has night temperatures below zero.

I am with Jane, those photos are perfect, the outfits of the girls are so beautiful they don't need grass to pop up.

Welcome back! We had gone to a couple of gardens hoping for spectacular displays of flowers, since we don't have any kind of formal gardens around here, but spring was way behind down south as well. Bellingrath had almost nothing in bloom, and even though Magnolia Plantation was a bit further along, it was very wild. I'd so love a beautiful formal garden somewhere within driving distance!
