I decided that I didn't need to make a 'dressing ball' to replace Rosy's one hand after all - I just used a large S-hook to keep the elastic from shooting up inside her arm. It was a bit fidly to remove her hand and put it back on after dressing her - I could have used an extra hand of my own - but it worked perfectly, and Rosy looked beautiful in the green, especially with her long red hair....
I finally finished the first two Renaissance costumes. I had hoped to take photos of them at the Ruins Gardens in Guildwood, then in the studio, so I could move on and use the girls for the next two costumes. But it was way too windy, so I just took a couple of quick photos in the backyard. And then there's Ryung in the dark red version.... So now I'm working on finishing the last two, and hoping to take photos some time later this week.

Most of my eyelets come from Michaels in their scrapbooking department. I think they are 4mm. I use them for both SD and MSD, and even YoSD costumes. I've seen even smaller eyelets for sale at Mimiwoo - http://stores.ebay.com/Mimi-Collection/Eyelet-/_i.html?_fsub=522040119&_sid=108903569&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322 but have no idea what they'd be like to put in.

Oh wow! I love the costumes and I just love how the wind is blowing their hair.

And I took those photos when the wind actually died down for a moment. I was afraid the dolls would blow over, even though they were on stands.
