Thanks to Covid, we are a month behind where we'd normally be at this time, with it being less than a week until Christmas. The tree, which is usually up at the end of November, is still not fully decorated. There's still boxes of ornaments left to hang up.... And the fruitcakes which usually get baked in the end of November, just got made yesterday... And there's a festive room set up on my dining room table just waiting for someone to be photographed in it. So, until they are, I'll just continue with the story about Baron and Naomi's babies, and Christmas will just have to come late this year. But then, Orthodox Christmas isn't until January 6th, so I guess there's still plenty of time to get inspired.

The Christmas room looks beautiful. I look forward to seeing who will be entertaining there whenever that story begins.

This year has disappeared at an astonishing rate! Covid certainly didn't help you either. I'm happy you are recovering and are able to begin your Christmas activities, even if they are a little late. Whatever you post is always a pleasure!

The new year is starting off at super speed as well. But I still want to take some of the photos that I'd planned for the Holidays. Better late than never, is my motto.

I don't like fruitcake at all - at least not to eat it - but it is nice to make for those family members who do enjoy it. It does smell really good when it's baking. but you won't get me to eat any of it. Comments are closed.
