Time to Go

Leona had come to help her sister with her delivery, and had brought Holly along with her, but it was finally time for them to go back home. They were back in their regular clothes, and their bags were packed and ready to go....

But first they needed one more cuddle with baby Sena....

This story is so much fun. I love the modern coats and such in the Victorian parlor.

Did Holly and her mother time traveler before? I think I missed that.

Well, I blame you for giving me the idea!

I was just going to have them disappear from the story, but then you brought up "time travel", and it occurred to me that Holly never had a chance to play with the baby yet, and the whole nursery had already been cleaned up. So I thought I'd give her one last chance while they were getting ready to leave.

I suppose they must have time travelled in the past. Iris and Steve's family first started out in the present two years ago. Leona and Owen's family are usually in the present, but went out on a Fantasy Adventure somewhere in the past three years ago. So I guess they can all time travel. I just never made a point of it before.

Dear Martha, me? wow, thank you.

I have a friend who is heavy into Sci-Fi. He goes to conventions and creates book graphics. I don't know too much about Sci-Fi.

I have to confess my "introduction" to time travel came from watching Rocky and Bullwinkle (my favorite cartoon) when there would be the segment with Mr. Peabody and Sherman and the way-back machine.

I have read a few books about folks time traveling back to the time of Jane Austen or her characters. I don't think I could be happy without TV and indoor plumbing (chuckle).

I love the idea of time travel for the dolls! They are magical creatures after all :o)

This sequence is a lovely blending of the past and present. I've often thought how much fun time travel would be. It's nice the dolls can do it so easily.
