Now that I have a fireplace, and with Christmas coming up, I decided I was going to need some stockings to hang on it. So, yesterday we went to Len's Mills to look for some Christmas fabric suitable for making some.
They have an entire aisle dedicated to Christmas fabrics, and I found one that actually had Christmas stockings printed right on it. Five different designs, with both sides shown. Forget having to make stockings from scratch! All that I'd have to do would be to cut them out and sew them back to back so the stockings would be the same on back and front, and could be hung in whatever direction I wanted....

I also found a fabric printed with Christmas theme squares, perfect for some doll-size decorative pillows for the Holidays.
I figured both would be nice things to work on in the evenings while listening to TV, and I could even offer them up for sale. The stockings, being flat, would just fit in a standard envelope, so there wouldn't be much cost for sending them. Same with the pillow cases if they are sent unstuffed.
