Notes on a self-evolving story, with a mind of it's own.

After taking the photos in the 'magic dandelion puffs', and leaving everyone hanging with Holly trying to resist making a wish, Jan asked what comes next? Well, I hadn't planned anything.
But the two flower girl dresses were finished, so why not make them magically transform?

So we went back to the exact same spot - the very next day - and all the fluffs were gone,
blown away by the wind overnight. All that was left were the thousands of empty flower stalks. Well, that wasn't exactly what i had had in mind!  But then, I thought it might just work.
Be perfect in fact. The price of making a wish would be that one couldn't undo it afterwards
if they changed their minds. With no more 'magic fairy fluffs' to wish on, they'd be stuck.

So, now what??   I think I may have an idea.....

I love how your stories evolve! Serendipity is a wonderful tool for a great story teller.

Holly looks so guilty with her hand up to her mouth... one of those 'oh no, what have I done' moments.

P.S. Their flower girl dresses are beautiful!

Thanks! Serendipity can be frustrating too. We went to that same spot last night, intending to continue the story, then saw ALL the fuzz balls were gone, and drove around town to other places we've shot dandelions gone to seed before, but all had been mowed flat. So we went back again and took pictures anyways. And figured out an explanation.

Poor Holly. She looks so guilty and i'm sure, she'll never touch a dandelion again.

The dresses are very beautiful.
