the Valentine Party

2/17/2015

I still have a few more Valentine photos to share.....

Since last Valentine's Day, when I had just five little girls, they've been joined by three boys, and one more girl - Holly. It's interesting to observe the difference between how the boys and girls behave on Valentine's Day. The girls seem to prefer the fancier things in life - flowers, pretty cards (especially homemade ones) and beautiful heart-shaped boxes full of fancy chocolates.....
Picture
Holly offered some of her fancy chocolates to her friends.....

But boys - that's another story entirely. They go straight for the biggest solid chunks of chocolate and immediately start to chow down....I saw it first hand on the weekend.....
Picture
They could as well be chowing down a sandwich!  I think these little guys could
use a few tips on taking the time to enjoy the finer things in life.....

Hahahahaaaaaa........this is just so spot on true {{helpless giggling}}

Good luck with getting the lads to slow down with their eating, but something tells me you are not going to change things! LOL!

I love these extra photos of the party...thank you ((^_^))

Yes, I know. LOL I saw it all first hand this past weekend, how the girls are into fancy cards and chocolates, but the older boys just wolfed down their huge chocolate hearts in mere minutes - like they hadn't eaten anything in days.

These are really fun photos! Your little girls and boys act just like real little girls and boys.

Efreet and Coco probably need all the extra energy in those huge chocolate hearts to handle their paper route AND Ringo's new snow shoveling endeavor :o)

You are probably right! I never even thought of that. And with it being so ridiculously cold out, they can use all the energy they can get.

And if they don't act fast and inhale the chocolate, somebody could ask them to give it away... (Maybe as a Valentine's gift?) :-)
