The first order of official business was to sign the Treaty.
Picture
As a member of Lawrence's Kingdom Alliance, the Elves were guaranteed a peaceful coexistence with all the other member nations.

They would have free markets for all their goods, and would be entitled to receive help in difficult times. Including military help. In other words, a pact of friendly nations looking out for one another.

Archibald read over the document.  "Everything looks in order.."

..and he signed it.

Then after Lawrence signed it...

Nolan’s wig and facial hair is perfect. Love the scene and the sentiment.

Thanks! To reduce bulk, there's hair glued inside Nolan's helmet - side burns and a braid down the back. But for when he's not wearing it he needed a wig in the same style. So I had to hide the hair in his helmet (sitting on the table) with some strategically placed scrolls.

Welcome to the new citizens of the kingdom!

They are more like allies, each with their own separate Kingdom.

Sort of like when Canada and Mexico signed the trade pact with the USA. We didn't become US citizens.

Oh, I see. I need a refresher class in Civics (laugh).

I wish we could have dual (or triple) citizenship.

Well done, gentlemen! Long may the Alliance thrive!

Those little guys are just so cute, and so serious about this important undertaking. I love how Lawrence and Baron treat them with respect even though their feet don't touch the floor when they sit at the conference table.

Not only do their feet not touch the ground, but the elves are so short that they wouldn't even see over the table were it not for the two pillows each of them is sitting on.
