Missy, Layla, and Hope were on their way home from shopping, when they passed the toy store... The old toymaker was busy rearranging the toys in the window, trying to find room for a beautiful doll house.... "I hope Santa brings me a dollhouse like that!"

A toy store, how perfect! I love seeing the little dolls and nutcrackers in the window.

Thanks! I thought I'd try a 'window' scene this year, and what would be more appropriate than a Toy Store window?

Lovely! There used to be a wonderful sweetshop, with just that sort of paned window, in my local market town - I visited it one Christmas, over 30 years ago now. I was choosing from the brilliant selection of old fashioned sweets, chocolates and lollipops, and looked up to see three small faces, topped with red bobble hats, noses pressed to the window - your pictures took me straight back to that moment!

Thank you! I suspect there's a sweet shop with this same kind of window in my doll world as well.

Wow, took me right back to the time when I was little. That’s so beautiful and with so many details, I love it. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

They are like pictures from a lovely storybook! It reminds of the little match girl, but without the sadness.

Thanks! I was inspired by those old illustrations, and had wanted a 'window' so I could try recreating some of those scenes. Comments are closed.
