Playing in the Snow

Today was a better day, and the sun was shining again, so I took the girls out to continue playing out in the snow. The squirrels had eaten the snowmen's raisin eyes and buttons, so we needed to replace them - but they had left the carrots. Obviously not into healthy food!

The snow was so wet and soggy, I think this will be the last time the girls get to go out and play in it. I'm going to put together an album with all their photos.

In case anyone who came here earlier is wondering, I removed everything from the second 'Sugar Bush" post, and added it into the bottom of the first one, so there would be more continuity of story. I moved people's comments as well.

Well, back to the summer clothes. I have two nice KID outfits made, and now I want to make two BID ones. I just designed a pair of coveralls, and a long top with leggings. The T-shirts that go with both of those are done and just need snaps. I'll take photos when I'm done.

I still have to process many of the photos, and then the album will open.

I wish I had time to make new summer clothes for everyone, but there's just enough time for four outfits - two per size girl - so they'll mostly just have to wear things from last year.

Your comment about the squirrels obviously not being into healthy food really did make me laugh out loud! Hahahahaaaa

And more fabulous shots of the girls playing....you really have had so much use out of all this wonderful knitwear you made for the girls.

I just thought it was so funny that the squirrels (I think it was squirrels) carefully removed all the raisins, and left the toothpick ends, that I'd used to secure them, neatly on the ground.

Yes, I did get a lot of use out of those great little sweater sets. But I think next fall I really need to make some snow suits, so people don't get bored.
