I wanted to include the polar bear, but wasn't prepared to get down in the snow, so only got this one shot with everyone, on the end of one of the ruins walls.....
We had the most wonderful snowfall last night, and I really wanted to take some photos of Kassia as the Snow Queen. I thought the Ruins Garden might be nice, but by the time we got to go there, most of the snow had blown off the branches..... It was freezing cold, and the sun was low to the south, which only added to my photography dilemma. But we made our way through the snow, looking for just the right place..... I wanted to include the polar bear, but wasn't prepared to get down in the snow, so only got this one shot with everyone, on the end of one of the ruins walls..... All the other photos had to be taken 'hand held'.... It was so very cold, and my hands were in pain each time I had to take off my mittens, but I was happy with the few photos I did manage to take. And I also had a bit of a workout trudging through the snow, on my very first doll photo shoot since my surgery. We'll need to try again after another nice snowfall, when it isn't quite so cold.

The pictures are beautiful and you are amazing! Only 3 weeks post surgery and you're trekking through the snow in sub zero temperatures to take photos!

Well, one has to take advantage of the snow. And it's not so bad going out in 'nature'. I find it a lot more challenging to go into a store, and be surrounded by people.
