the Red Dress

I had just finished putting together Baron and Naomi's apartment on my dining room table, and wanted to take some photos in it. I had Naomi standing around in her new red gown, which was almost finished, so she posed in her new apartment for me...

In the end, I wasn't happy with the ribbon bow and jewel at the waist, so picked them off, replaced the bow with a gold chain instead, and moved the jewel up to the top of her bodice.
But the photos were so nice I decided to keep them.

What a beautiful dress. Naomi is certainly a stellar seamstress in whichever era she resides (smile). I love how you picked up the red in the table napkin bow and the yellow with the cup.

The dress looks even better now that I changed the bow and jewels at the front.

LOL. Those aren't napkins. But then how were you to know? It's a bundle of cards from a scene that was being photographed for a story coming up in April, and I forgot to remove them.

Naomi looks more at home in this long ago time than she does in 2023. Her gown is so beautiful and so is she! She would be the most gorgeous mother-to-be in any era she happened to be in.

I like her best in this period as well.

The lighting comes from having a real window at one end of the room. It's just not something I can fake.
