The second series was taken on a walkway in front of a big stone Gate...
I took photos of my three FIDs in several settings around the Ruins Gardens yesterday. The second series was taken on a walkway in front of a big stone Gate... I had to get down flat on the ground to take all these photos, so when I got up I took another shot to show what the dolls actually looked like to any casual passersby.... Making a doll look like they actually fit into the scene is all about the camera angle, taking the photo at the doll's eye level....which often means getting down very low.

Thanks! I love the Ruins Garden. It's the perfect setting for certain types of dolls.

Gorgeous photos and dolls, not to mention their outfits. That getting down low thing is a challenge for me. I had a knee replacement and it makes some simple things way harder than they should be!

I know all about it. I have fibromyalgia, and severe arthritis everywhere, so it's very hard to get down - even harder to get up. But I do it because I want the pictures.

WOW Martha! Thanks for all the trouble you go thru just to get the right shot. It's amazing how much farther away the Old Gate actually is IRL!
