the New Raccoon

The new Raccoon arrived yesterday, so Ginger was eager to go meet her, and welcome her to the neighbourhood. She and Smuzhka got all dressed up, and brought along a bouquet of flowers....
"Wow, this is one fancy place..."
Picture
"Could we help you??"
Picture
"We came to welcome the new Racoon girl. Could you let her know we'd like to say 'Hi' please"
Picture
"I'm the new Racoon girl. My name is Monica.  Nice to meet you!"
Picture
"But....but..... you're not a raccoon....."
Picture
"Well, yes she is. She is a Raccoon Fashion model..."
Picture
"Oh my!  I'm so embarrassed!   I seem to have misunderstood.  I was expecting a 'raccoon'.... you know.... like us....."
Picture
"Here, I brought these for you....."
Picture
"Please take them!"
Picture
Picture
"I feel so dumb..."
Picture
"It's okay, sweetie. It was an honest mistake."
Picture
"Thank you for coming, and for the flowers!  It was nice to meet you!"
Picture
"You look so beautiful in your new dress, that I'd like to take you out to a fancy restaurant for dinner. I think it might help cheer you up."
"Really?!?  That would be so nice!  By the way, did you notice she has brown eyes like me, and her dress is the same colour as mine??"

Oh my goodness, that story is so funny!
So now you are delving into mysteries too (laugh).
The new raccoon is stunning. Who is she?

She's Raccoon Temptation Monica, in Sweet Mocha.

Knowing the secret, I've been waiting with great anticipation for this moment to see how the story would unfold! It's a delight!

Monica is beautiful and having both she and Miho greet the two little raccoons was really sweet.

Thanks!

If the doll had arrived when expected, instead of disappearing into the black hole of Customs for so long, I'd probably never have had the idea to do this little story. I guess that checking tracking so many times for ten days, must have triggered my subconscious to come up with it in the middle of the night, a few days ago. And then, of course, I had to act on it.

Now she needs a proper photo shoot for her official introduction....

By the way, thanks for not spilling the secret in all the previous posts leading up to this one

It definitely was a surprise for me.
I had heard of Raccoon dolls but I thought they were 13 inches like the Little Darlings. I think Dotti showed me one a while back.
I never would have made the connection though so I was totally surprised.
What a fun story.

Raccoon does make smaller child dolls, comparable to Iplehouse bIDs. But he started with the mature smaller MSD-size ladies first.

I feel almost as embarrassed as Smuzhka, because of all people I should have known which Raccoon you meant--and I never guessed! Monica looks so stunning here, I can hardly wait for the official portraits.

LOL. I find that really funny! I was trying to be so careful not to give away any hints, and was so sure people would make the connection, but if even you didn't guess, then I certainly succeeded.

I'm in the middle of taking more photos right now.

She's very pretty! I've never heard of Raccoon dolls before. It was a totally successful surprise for me!
