I took a few more photos of the little girls in the scillas last week, then went again on the weekend hoping to shoot Bo Peep, but the flowers were all finished, all gone to seed. So this is the very last scilla photo for this year.....Byuri and the butterflies, in the blue flowers..... I'm continuing to work on the sundress ensembles. The dresses themselves are almost all done, and I've started crocheting some of the hats. I bought some golden yellow crochet thread to simulate "straw" hats, for some of the gingham sets. In the meantime, with the glorious weather we've been having, my garden just keeps growing. The magnolias are in full bloom, the tulips and forget-me-nots have started, and the buds are showing on the crabapples.

I love your site and all the pics.. you do such beautiful work.. Do you by chance know where the pattern for your hats can be found?

Sorry, but I made up the crochet hat pattern myself, and as I'm not knowledgeable about proper crochet terms, no one would be able to use my instructions. I had wanted to make those hats into a tutorial, because they really are very easy, but I have no idea how to turn my instructions into something someone else would understand.

All your photos with the scillas are marvellous. It must be a real joy to see your garden blooming that way after a long winter.

I love when the flowers start blooming in spring, but my own garden doesn't really have that many, as it's mostly shade. There's the magnolia trees and the crabapples, and very soon all the violets will be in bloom, but after that most things are way too big to work with dolls - unless they're fairies.
