When everyone was posed in front of the Inukshuk in Red Bay, Cookie decided to take her Labrador flag and climb up on top.... "What are you doing up there??" "Just sitting here enjoying the view. Come on up, and I'll even give you my flag!" "This is really high!" Olivia noticed that Ringo seemed a bit unsure... "Be very careful up there!"

It is so much fun to see how each doll has a distinct `personality``.

Thanks! Those personalities sort of develop on their own. I always saw cookie as younger than Olivia, and she's not afraid of anything. And Ringo is just being 'Ringo'

Cookie kind of reminds me of me at her age - not afraid of anything, with the scars to prove it. Gave my Mom more than a few grey hairs.

Funny you should say that, since she really does have a big scar - from an overly-zealous security check on her way to live with us, when they though there might be explosives inside her. Thankfully her hair covers it. I just hope it's the last, and only, scar she gets.

Climbing the Inukshuk is the perfect adventure for the children to have. I think I would have been with Olivia on the ground though (laugh).

Well, the thing is, Inukshuks are just loose stones piled up in the shape to suggest a 'person'. They aren't cemented together, so could fall over.

The little ones are adorable. And the Inukshuks are very intriguing.

This particular Inukshuk isn't ancient, but they were historically built by the Inuit as landmarks up in the barren north. Nowadays people build them almost anywhere there are loose flat rocks. Comments are closed.
