What a tasty meal for the campers and the dogs too.

I love how you used a table cloth. It makes the table seem homey and comfortable.

Thanks. I'm obsessed with details, so plan ahead.

Once the hard work is done, they get to relax and enjoy their surroundings 😊. They even set up a tent for their puppies! I bet they're looking forward to nightfall and lighting the campfire they've so nicely built. I love your attention to all the tiny details that make your photos a work of art.

Thanks. This was one of the most difficult scenes to set up, because it was down on the ground and I was really in a lot of pain at that point. I usually like to change everyone's poses a few times in any particular scene, but it just wasn't possible. At least all the other campers had left, so I had open access without anyone watching.

Oh yes, spectators… :-) Recently my husband and I photographed dolls in the garden together. Just as we are both lying on the grass, the postman comes to deliver a package. I was a little embarrassed:-)

I feel VERY self conscious while taking doll photos in public, but will force myself to do it anyways. I just don't look around to see who, if anyone, is watching.

There was one permanent campsite beside us and two ladies came over to see what we were doing when I had the elves and dragons set up on the picnic table. They said they remembered us from a few years ago, and were fascinated. After that I didn't worry about those people anymore. But forgot about other campers, especially when a huge A-class RV pulled into the site beside us, and a big fifth wheel into the one beside that. I was so glad I'd already shot the scenes in those campsites.
