the Blue Gown

I finished Yvette's new blue gown yesterday....

I still have to make her a matching cap....

Stunning! I love your choice of fabrics and the colors are so rich. I can't get over the amount of time and patience that must go into sewing on all the beads. I still like the gold gown but the vibrant blue makes a lovely change of pace.

I love the gold gown too, and it took weeks of beading, but I wanted something where she wouldn't always be standing out in photos.

It's also good to have some extra outfits so everyone can have a switch if they want.

She is just so lovely! I can't get over how pretty she is. Her gown is beautiful and the shades of blue really suit her colouring.

The photo of her with her little "attendants" is sweet.

She is very beautiful. It's funny because the real skin version did nothing for me.

I still have to make her two head coverings, but wanted a quick photo, so just plopped her into the scene with Lawrence and the kids with the wolf. And Rex turned to look at his sister-in-law.

Beading is one of my favourite things to do, and the gown just wouldn't have seemed complete without it.

Thanks. That necklace started out as the one she wore with the golden gown. I popped out the golden stone, and replaced it with a blue rhinestone surrounded by tiny blue pearls
