Telling Baron

Baron found Miho in her garden...
Picture
"You wanted to see me?"
Picture
"Yes, I did.    ...You know I love you, and nothing is ever going to change that? No one is ever going to come between us?"
Picture
"Yes, of course.  I love you too.  What's this all about?"
Picture
"Well.....sit down....I have something I want to tell you."
Picture
"So....what's going on?"
Picture
Picture
"I've met someone."
Picture
Baron was taken a little aback.  This was not what he'd been expecting.
Picture
"Oh......really?!?  Um....do I know him?"
Picture
"I don't think so.  His name is Dominic, and he's a sorcerer from a distant realm, far beyond Lawrence's kingdom.
We've been seeing each other for a little while now."
Picture
"This Raven, who arrived last year....is his friend....and he introduced us."
Picture
Baron was a little bemused at the thought of his Mother falling in love, and just sat quietly listening....
Picture
"I haven't felt like this for a very long time, and we'd like to make our relationship public, but I wanted your blessing first."
Picture
Picture
He took her hand....
Picture
"Of course I give my blessing."
Picture
"You deserve to be happy just like everyone else."
Picture
"If this man loves you, and he makes you happy..."
Picture
"...then I'm happy for you."
Picture
Miho got up to give her son a hug...
Picture
"I love you!  Thank you for understanding."
Picture
"So....when do I get to meet him?"
Picture
"Well...how about tomorrow evening at dinner?"
Picture
"I'm anxious for you and Naomi to meet him."

Baron is truly a wonderful son. His mother being happy makes him happy too.

Miho has two wonderful men in her life, both who love her and want only what will make her happy!

The photos in this post and the previous one all show such a lot of emotion. They are beautiful!

I'll be looking forward to tomorrow evening's dinner!

Thanks! I tried to pose them in realistic poses trying to convey emotions in dolls with static expressions. So it became all about the body language.

These photos were a challenge, since they are supposed be before Baron & Naomi's wedding, which was photographed in early September, and is supposed to be in late summer. I had to fake a 'summer' garden background in the end of October after there wasn't much left alive in the garden, except a few well placed baskets of million bells. But it turned out convincing enough.

The scenery as a whole is very convincing. I love doll photography myself (that's how I found your blog) and am thrilled every time to see how many emotions can be portrayed despite the limited facial expressions.

Thanks. I thought it looked pretty convincing as taking place in 'summer', and I'm also getting better at conveying feelings, while having the dolls actually looking at each other, as opposed to just standing staring at the camera.

Forgot to mention that "tomorrow" is just in their story timeline. Not in my real Blog timeline.

Sigh... oh well, anticipation is always part of the fun, so I will be patient
