Tea With Friends

Asa and Phairby were both standing in my workspace, waiting to go back on their respective shelves, when it occurred to me that they were both wearing very elaborate gowns, and could easily be friends in that Fantasy world of theirs. They should get together. Maybe for tea.

Asa agreed to host, and she invited some other Fantasy ladies....

Lily and Kassia came....

...as did Phairby and Willie....

Asa was getting ready to pour everyone some tea....

"You have such a lovely home. Thank you so much for inviting us!"

"You are very welcome..."

" I thought it was high time we all got to know each other better."

Oh my goodness, I love this story! Taking tea is my favorite thing to do. Doll play is my second favorite thing to do. You have combined them, so I am really enjoying this.

I didn't realize how much I missed seeing Willie. She is such a dear. Phairby looks like she is going to say, "well, my dear..."

I love Lily's pose with her teacup. It looks like a painted portrait.

Kassia is regal.

It is defintiely Asa's moment in that stunning dress.

I have a LOT of dolls, and some rarely get any camera time, plus I go through phases focusing on someone while ignoring others. And right now it's my FIDs getting all the attention, until I finish their travel outfits. So Willie has been patiently waiting in the background.

But I took a bit of time out yesterday to shoot what was supposed to be a single scene.....then ended up shooting a story.

The world of fantasy is so much fun! Anything goes and everything goes. All five ladies look perfectly normal taking tea together. I love it!

Thanks! I figure I'd push boundaries and just put them all together. After all, like you say, with Fantasy anything goes. The trick is to make them all look like they are actually interacting.
