Today is Pumpkin Day, so on our way up north to look at the fall colours, we stopped in at Stroud's Market to pick up some tiny pumpkins. Elin and Lonnie had their's chosen in no time.... ...but Nami insisted on checking out almost every one in the pile.... We chose six, to carve into Jack-O-lanterns later this month.

We didn't. We parked on the shoulder of the road and went over to the fence - Elin is sitting on the fence-post.

I love pumpkins! They are such "happy" things, being so bright orange. I actually chose the mini pumpkins because I needed ones that I could actually carve. Most of those really nice ones are too flat to carve, so I go for the plain orange ones that are taller.

Great photos ! I like how the colors of the sweaters match with the filed on the background and the second photo would be perfect for the color game. Can't wait to see your carved pumpkins and the scene with your girls.

I took plenty of pumpkin pictures so I'll be all set for when the colour of the week is orange.
