Steve and Iris certainly picked a beautiful time to take their family (and their dogs!) camping. The colours and scenery are spectacular. It was nice of the weather to cooperate as well. As always, your photos are lovely and lifelike.

Thank you. We love taking a road trip in fall. The colours were gorgeous up there this year.

Unfortunately the weather was not going to cooperate. We had one bright sunny day, which isn't the best for doll photos, but at least it wasn't raining that one day. So I ended up doing six photo sessions that first day - all in the harsh fall sun - and I was exhausted by the time the sun went down.

Fortunately it didn't rain all day every other day, so there were a few dry spells for a few more photos, but then the wind was so strong that it blew the dolls over - even on their stands. Poor Iris did a nose plant on a picnic table, but fortunately wasn't damaged. After that, the dolls either had to sit, or Jan had to hold their stands down.

Thanks. The colours seemed a lot brighter this year, with more reds. Last year we went up too late. Actually it was the same time, the day after Thanksgiving, but the trees had already lost all their leaves. Every year is different.

Thanks. They are usually Victorian, so it was nice for them to get out as a contemporary family for a change.

I love how the faces of the dolls reflect an "awe" of the foliage.

The photos are amazing.

I loved seeing baby Sena.
