Ringo's Drawing

Baron took Ringo's drawing off the mantle...

"So.....what's this?"

"It looks like a family portrait."

"Yes...Ringo drew it for me."

"You know...it's really quite good. He's becoming quite the accomplished little artist."

He went to show the drawing to Rex...

..who looked at the drawing...

...and then at his brother-in-law.....

"It's an uncanny resemblance...." he chuckled..... "It looks just like you!"

Lawrence smiled and took the drawing.... "You two get out of here..."

"Go home to your loved ones. They've missed you long enough."

"I'm really glad you are back..."

"But I have your report, and if I have any questions I can send for you. So go home."

I bet hearing the nice words about his drawing would make Ringo smile.

Now the travelers can have a well deserved rest with their families.

Thanks. It makes me laugh how he enjoys teasing Lawrence. But then he and Baron would be the only ones who could get away with it. I doubt anyone else would dare.

I love how comfortable these three are with each other. And I love how "real" you make them. When they're together with no one else around, they are able to be three friends and not a king and his subjects.

Rex's comment about Ringo's drawing of Lawrence was really funny.

I imagine that it must be really lonely at the top, so it's nice the three of them can be genuine with each other. And that includes being able to take some ribbing from Rex.
