The righthand case has a selection of my favourite really old art dolls on the top shelf. The second shelf has many of my favourite art dolls. The third shelf has my Kaye Wiggs MSD girls and the 'Fairy Branch'. And the bottom shelf has my 'Magic Talisman' cloth doll group.
My dolls are mostly all back in the glass display cases. The room was repainted, and the cases rewired with LED strip-lighting to better illuminate the dolls inside. I wanted my tall BJDs to go in, which meant reducing one side to just three shelves to accommodate their height. I also wanted my Kaye wigs girls on display. All in all it meant losing 3 shelves worth of the dolls that were in my cases before this whole adventure began. All the felt dolls were given away at Christmas already. All the porcelain reproductions moved into my dining room china cabinet. And the early dolls that I have for sale went into the top of my china cabinet. Here's what's in the left display case now... The top shelf has some of my favourite art dolls, as well as BJDs Owen and Asa (Queen of the Night). The middle shelf has six of my MSDs plus favourite art figures. The bottom shelf has all my bigger dolls, and the Cat Cook. The smaller display case which used to house music boxes, now holds several cats from 'the White Cat' doll photo story, as well as six more BJDs. All my smaller Iplehouse kids are still in my family room for easy access, since they are the ones who get the most action these days. I still have a couple of art dolls standing on my dining room table that I need to find a spot for. Then everything will be finally be finished.
