I think I have the basic designs and fabric choices lined up, but it's the neck treatments that has me stalled. They really should have small, embroidered, stand-up collars, but those are bad enough to do on the bigger sized dolls, plus I don't have any patterns for them, which means drafting up one and making test tops. Which is something I've never liked doing, even though it's a very important step to get just the right fit. So I guess that's what I have to do today.....
It's finally time to address the boy's clothing. I stripped David and Ringo down to their underwear, and left their tops on because it's just too cold these days to stand around topless.... First job was to make socks and pants, and put on the right footwear.... Next job is to decide on the rest of their outfits, and what fabrics and trims to choose. That's the hard part, so they've been standing around like this for a few days already.
