I finished Archibald yesterday. What a lot of tiny, fiddly work! The only thing he still needs is a separate wig for when he isn't wearing his hat that has the hair attached. So, here he is... And, as requested, with the High Aldwin, whose costume inspired me. And here I thought the High Aldwin was already a small doll! With Archibald done, I can finally get to shooting a short story I've been planning, and with Lawrence's throne room set up on the dining room table already, I figured I'd just take the House Elf portraits in it. So, now I have five of my eight elves finished.... Next up are Daisy (a young elf lady) and the Avery twins (two elf children), who I'll be picking up later today. They will get simpler, Hobbit-style costumes, but at this scale even 'simple' is a lot of work.

I cannot wait to hear their story. They are small but they look mighty.

The photo with Winston and Saphira will not be part of the story - it's just a straight-on portrait shot. But yes, the story introducing the Elves and Saphira will be their first official meeting.

Oops, sorry for mis-spelling her name. I am looking forward to reading about the meeting between Saphira and Winston.

I do have their story in mind, but haven't photographed it yet. Plus, I'll be offline for almost a week, so hopefully after that.

They are SO cute! They're such a cheerful little group, they had me smiling back at them. Thanks for the photo of the High Aldwin standing beside Archibald. Aldwin is probably saying, "Look, a mini-me", and Archibald and all the other elves are truly mini. All lined up for their portrait their costumes look amazing

Thanks. I have to admit it's taking me a bit to get used them done like that since I've had them blank and naked for over two years.
