Today, March 14th, is "National Potato Chip Day", and we are supposed to marvel at all the many flavours of potato chips - and sample as many of them as we can. Enough said - any excuse to eat potato chips, is a good excuse! I guess my girls won't be needing any dinner tonight.... It's also "Learn About Butterflies Day" - not the kind you might get from eating all those chips... And for all the Math geeks, March 14 is a very special day - it's "Pi Day" - not for that guy in the lifeboat with the tiger, but that marvelous number that goes endlessly into infinity (3.14.....)

Sheesh! There's just no pleasing some people! LOL I'll think about it - I can always edit one in later. These "multiple special days" like today are a huge challenge, because setting up for photos takes up a lot of time and I'd like to get some real work done too.

now there's the challenge. Put all the themes in ONE photo.

That's a great idea, and I'd prefer to do that and have done so on several occasions, but I just took a look at some of the upcoming "multiples" and I don't see any way to incorporate all the themes into one photo every time - some are just too unrelated.

Martha, I am in awe of your talents and spectacular photos. Do you actually make miniatures of things for the props in your pics or do you do some wizardry with software?

Thanks! I only have minimal PhotoShop skills. Those are actual tiny bags, which I made from parts of the few real chip bags I had in the house. The trick was finding a part of the bag that had some text on it that would be in scale, and look believable.
