Playing with Lily

I replaced Lily's eyes and went a size smaller to 8 mm. Now there's a bit more white
showing, so her eyes don't look quite so dark. I also tried on a different blonde wig.

I'm working on a bodice pattern, and found my Narae bodice comes closest, so altered it to fit Lily. Only problem is, Lily has lovely breasts when she's naked, but her nipples are too high on her breasts to fit nicely under clothes, and they show through. I imagine it would look really wrong if she had on a tight stretchy top.

The bodice darts end at the fullness of her breast, yet her nipples are above that. So she can't have really low necklines or the nipples will show. They may just have to be sanded off. Ouch!

I was thinking that too. But I'm not a big fan of white clothes. But definitely something fantasy Medieval in a light colour.

She looks so much more real with the smaller eyes!

And I would go for the sanding option, once it is done, it is done *ouch*

Wow, that does make a big difference. Good reason to have lots of eyes in lots of colors and sizes. Never know what is going to work best until you try it.

I wish I'd known she would look better with 8 mm, because then I'd have bought her some the same colour as the 10 mm ones I got for her. I really liked those eyes.

Yes, definitely good to have a bit of selection when it comes to eyes. Dolls often have a mind of their own, and often look better with a different colour than you'd planned.

yep sand hem off I have a few dolls who had he same problem I just sanded hem off. I like he smaller eyes much beer bu she needs body blushing for sure. Looks like she has some seem lines that need removing to. Because shes normal flesh that can be done.

She has some major seam lines, but Junkyspot says right on their site that Limhwa doesn't consider seam lines an issue.

Oh yes, she definitely needs body blushing.
