Picnic Prep

7/22/2019

I had thought that Trinity might be the perfect place for Rex and Bianca to celebrate with a picnic after their wedding. But it was way too windy in town, so we drove out to the lighthouse. The wind had died down some, and it looked like the perfect spot with the town in the background. The old church could even pass for the 'same' one they were married in on Fogo Island.

So I got the dolls ready, and posed them inside the RV to limit their time in the sun. The best way to transport them was seated in one of their boxes, with all the picnic props piled in the middle...

Jan commented that they looked like they were going for a 'boat' ride, and stuck on the 'HMS"...
...and out we went....

Oh, I see they are going on a picnic. I read your postings in reverse order so you will see later that I say I imagine that they are going on a picnic.

The photograph of the town is amazing. It almost looks like a painting.

I agree with Jan. They do look like they are in a boat of some kind.

I didn't want to end today's posts with this one. Plus the one photo was taken before setting up outside.

What a wonderful thing a husband with a sense of humor is! (I have one too.) You take such great care of your dolls. I'd have never thought of pre-posing to get that shot quickly. Love the wedding story.

I do my best to keep my dolls in as good condition as possible, and that includes not letting them be in the sun too long. It's just that getting them into a seated, or kneeling position takes a bit of effort, and it's easier at a table, then bent over double doing it on location.

I love the HMS Bianca. Too cute. The dolls look so great. I have been watching the TV series on Netflix and you've recreated the look of it perfectly with their clothing. Thank you for sharing your talents and travels.
