Photos for the Day...

I just want to thank everyone for their comments and messages of support. Over on Facebook there was well over a hundred yesterday.   It means a lot to me.

Things have not improved with Jan as the hospital tries to figure out exactly what is wrong with him. I wish I could be there with him, but visitors are not allowed due to the current Covid19 crisis.  Talking on the phone doesn't seem possible either, since he seems to have forgotten how to use his phone. I've asked if a nurse could help him, but I can imagine they are too busy.

Yesterday evening I was asked for permission to do a lumbar puncture, because they think he may have an infection in the brain.

And Monday morning had started out so well too - at least for me. There was a shipping notice from Iplehouse, and there was a fresh layer of snow to be taken advantage of. I went outside four separate times to take doll photos, and Jan commented on how much energy I seemed to have.  Well, one has to take advantage when one can. Then things went rapidly downhill....

I know Jan always loved looking at my photos, so have decided to just keep posting the 'Smiles for the Day', and add to the 'Toilet Paper Chronicles'.  I have all the photos just sitting waiting in folders on the computer anyways, so might as well post them.

If anybody can use a smile these days it's me......

So today we have Cinnamon working hard to make a birthday cake for her best friend....

Hey, Martha? Thanks so much for putting so much energy into spreading some light and joy in these troubling times. You’ve been doing so much to cheer up all of us. I pray that some of that sunshine comes back your way. I’m still praying for you and Jan. I hope he gets better soon and that he doesn’t have Covid19. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His countenance shine upon you and give you peace.

I love seeing your smile for the day as they do indeed put a smile on my face! Last night I kept waking up thinking about you and Jan. How hard for you to be away from him. Still sending many prayers your way! It's good that you keep posting pictures and distract yourself. Sometimes distractions are the best medicines.

I can relate to Cinnamon. I don't think my cake would look so good as hers does.
The bathtub race looks like fun. I am rooting for Ringo.

I have always loved your photos, and the generosity of your tutorials - thank you for continuing them even in these dark days. Hoping for a firm diagnosis and successful treatment plan very soon.

Dear Martha, I‘m really sorry to hear such bad news. I hope the test for Covid-19 will be negative and that Jan will make a speedy recovery. Please take care of yourself and remember we are all thinking of you both.
