Peach's Princess Party

5/25/2015

It was finally nice weather for Peach's Princess Garden Party yesterday afternoon.
The older girls came dressed as Princesses, while the younger ones came as Fairies.
Picture
Mostly I just took official birthday portrait shots....
Picture
Peach's castle cake was a huge hit....especially with the little girls....
Picture
Everyone was eager to taste it....
Picture
It was the perfect opportunity to take some photos of the girls in their new dresses....

...and now, two of my favourite photos....
Picture
"Wow, is that really a cake?"  "I want one just like it for my birthday!"

Thanks! I love that last photo - it makes me laugh. I was in the process of taking that third photo from the top, when I had to get up and reposition the urn in the background. While I was at that end of the table (these were all shot on my picnic table) I saw all the little girls from the back, and thought that would make a great photo. Only problem was, I couldn't shoot in that direction immediately since there wasn't a decent background. So I moved them all to the front.

And Erzulie's hair looked too messy from the back, so she ended up switching with Nami.

I just ADORE that last photo (awwww) and it made me laugh so much too!

And my goodness!!
This was a party and a half for Peach....what an absolutely amazing Princess Garden Party. Their dresses are wonderful!
And the cake!!!! *gasp*

Two of my girls want a Princess Garden Party now! LOL! ((^_^))

Thanks! I figure shooting the dolls from the back sometimes says even more than if they were all staring at the camera.

Yes, that cake was the most complex so far. I think the next couple will be more along 'normal' lines.

LOL! Yes that last one is perfection! Cake is spectacular! Any little princess would love it. (Thinking my girls need princess outfits...and fairy outfits!)

I love the last photo. So cute!
The gowns and the cake are adorable, but Peach looks a little bored and smug like she's thinking "that's nothing special, just what i've expected".

Thanks! But yes, there's not much I can do about the doll's expressions.

Your princesses and the little fairies are the most beautiful I've ever seen ! And the party is, as always, a true delight ! Love love Peach's cake ! Can't imagine how much work has been involved in making and organising all that but the result is just stunning !
