I find these busy sundresses work well when combined with other red outfits for variety, or when partially obscured by balloons and flags.....like this.....
I don't think I've shown a clear photo of my 'patriotic sundresses' yet. Here they are... I thought the two fabrics would make cute sundresses, but also figured I didn't need a lot of them, or Canada Day photos would get way too eye-boggling, so I just bought 1/4 meter of both. But even after making four, there's still plenty of fabric left. These tiny outfits don't take much. I find these busy sundresses work well when combined with other red outfits for variety, or when partially obscured by balloons and flags.....like this..... ....or this.... The girls were very lucky that a new order of frog shoes arrived Monday, so they could wear the red ones with their new sundresses. After all, every girl wants co-ordinating footwear! I've finally put several new BID and KID sundress outfits up for sale, as well as some older ones... For more information go to Fashions For Sale page

No, I decided to keep Elin's dress myself, so you didn't miss it. I hope to eventually make some more dresses that style - I even have the fabrics picked out already - but first I have several other things needing to be made.

The sundresses are so cute I want one! Sadly I do not have a BJD (yet) I have a Makie and have been collecting American Girl dolls for years. How big are the dolls you make the dresses for they may fit my Makie the one on Bonnie is adorable!

The Maple Leaf sundresses are not for sale. But if you want to know the size of my dolls, just go to the Fashions For Sale page and click on the outfits there. It will tell you the sizes of the dolls the outfits are made for.

The Maple Leaf sundresses are wonderful. They make me want to head for Fabricville to see if there are any of those fabrics there! I'd love to have my little girls looking so patriotic next Canada Day!! Thank you for the inspiration and the lovely photos :o)
