Oh dear. I think I would faint also. Can't wait for more of the story.

It was a huge amount of work (and still isn't done being photographed) so I'm just posting a small instalment every day, for the next few weeks.

But I'm adding each Blog segment to the album in Favourite Photos every day as well, so if you ever want to revisit it in the proper order up to where it's currently at, you can check that out.

Your photos are always such an inspiration! I just can't imagine the time that goes into getting all the little details right! And the storage space you must need to store everything! All the tiny details are so amazing.

Thank you so much. It does take a lot of time, but what else am I going to do all day? With the pandemic nowhere near over, it's way more fun to escape into my fantasy world. I mean, I could do housework, but dust and dirt just come back, so I try not to fall into that 'cleaning' trap too often.

It's not really all that difficult to get the details right. I'm super organized and know exactly where everything is. I print out photos of the individual room set-ups, so I know exactly what should be in where, and details like which family has which painting hanging over their fireplace, and which wall hanging are in whose rooms. So right now, as I've decided to add more parts to the story, which take place in earlier settings already used, it's a simple matter to refer to the printout and get exactly what I need to recreate it.

Well, your photos always do inspire me, and all your efforts are appreciated by many in the doll community I know. I am looking forward to seeing how their story unfolds.
And I hear you on the housework, lol! I subscribe to that philosophy a lot of the time as well. When my kids were little every time i started dusting the kids would ask who was coming over!

Funny you should mention that. I used to clean the house every time my daughter's family was coming for a visit, since she and the two youngest would stay at our house overnight for a few days, and I didn't want all the inevitable fingerprints on the dusty surfaces. But ever since Covid hit we haven't had any guests inside our home, so there's not been any motivation to do much cleaning.

Plus I don't see very well, so unless I bend over nice and far to take a really good look at the floor, or the offending item is big enough to really stand out, I don't see the dirt.

I'm really enjoying photographing this story, and so thrilled with the results. I decided to do all kinds of back story scenes so that I don't have the same people just sitting or standing there talking to each other. There's several dozen of those back story scenes scattered throughout, with the first ones coming up very soon. I really love many of the photos. I even impressed myself.

This story is definitely book material! The photos are wonderful, the story is romantic with many surprises, and a touch of humour as well. Baron's comment "And she hasn't even seen your wings yet" is priceless!

Something about the way he was standing there suggested he'd make that smart remark, because, as he knows very well, there's a lot more surprises ahead for her.

So stay tuned.
