the cookie photo that was turned into a Springbok puzzle last year
I took this photo of Nami and the pumpkins way back at the beginning of the Iplekids Colour Challenge, fully expecting "Orange" to come up some time in October - but it never did. Turns out the group moderator doesn't like orange, so wasn't even going to call it. Well, several people had been waiting for it, and here it is, finally today, a little out of season, but my orange photo... Spent some time this morning "baking cookies" out of Sculpey. For inspiration, I used

Thanks! I thought you'd like them. They are much less work than the real thing. I want to still try make some of the others from that photo. Maybe see if Bulk Barn has any other interesting tiny cookie cutters (like the gingerbread man and heart I got there last year)

Michael's has tiny cookie cutters! :) I've seen little holly leaves and seahorses and such before.

I thought the cookies turned out really well. I still would like to make a few more.

I love the picture of Nami in the pumpkins. Reminds me of so many similar photos I have taken of my kids. Can you please tell me if there is a place I can find the pattern for the wonderful sweaters and hats you do for your girls?

I modified a free pattern from DollsWest Designs for the sweaters and hats - http://www.dollswestdesigns.com/home.htm I used Free Pattern #E for Bleuette, but had to reduce everything.

Thank you! I will have to give it a try. I am thinking that it might be that the Little Darlings one might fit with less alteration.

It all depends on yarn thickness and needle size. I knit a sweater for my new Bonnie, who is also a BID, and because it was multi-coloured Fair Isle, and I used much finer needle-punch yarn, I had to use the actual number of stitches in the Bleuette pattern, but still reduce the number of rows.
