Oooops!

The kids were getting totally carried away with their pillow fight...

When suddenly there was a loud crash...  "Ooops!"
Picture
Steve rushed into the room...
Picture
...to find the Christmas tree flat on the floor....
Picture
"What is going on here!?!?"

Picture
"We were just having a little pillow fight...."

"...and then the tree just fell over."
Picture
Sena seemed totally unconcerned, sitting among the pillows, playing with an ornament that had fallen off the tree...

Steve turned to Eric and Nyssa, "Your friends are going home right now, and then the two of you are going to help me clean up this mess and fix everything before your mother gets home. Hopefully all her favourite ornaments are still okay."

Oh my gosh I love this post! I'm a mom of boys about that big and the whole thing is amazing - the way you made the pillows look like they are flying!!! And the stern stance on dad and uh oh faces on the boys! It's hard to believe the faces on the dolls themselves don't actually change, so much story is driven by their pose and setting :)

Thanks! I suspended the 'flying' pillows on strings from the overhead chandelier (the scene is on my dining room table)

Yes, one can get a lot of expression just through their poses.

This is so funny! You can almost hear the crash and then the silence... before Dad arrives in the room. He looks so stern and they all look just a little guilty (except Sena, she's just having fun). I love the comment how the tree "just fell over".

Thanks! This whole little story still makes me laugh. So much for trying to shoot a pillow promo. No one is going to want their kids to get their hands on any now!

I was thinking poor, little Sena but she wasn't worried at all (smile).

I think some youngsters are going to have a time out.
