Last week there was a "Pins and Needles Day", but I didn't feel up to setting up for a picture. So today while I'm getting ready to cut out the rest of the Summer Goddess costume pieces, I decided to let Byuri and Tillie help. I don't think they realize one is supposed to lay the fabric flat and pin the patterns onto it - not just poke pins into the fabric. I think they seriously could use some sewing lessons! With all the nice warm sweaters and hats I've been making for my little Iple-girls, I've started to feel Tillie and Cinnamon may be starting to feel a touch left out standing there in their summer clothes on the end of the shelf. It's high time to start including them again. In the past they've gone all winter in their Christmas Elf outfits, and as cute as those are, I think it's high time they got some regular winter wardrobes - some darker dresses and tights, and some sweaters, hats and scarves. And then they need to be included in all the fun with the other little kids.

Thanks! Several of my little girls have outfits like Byuri;s. They are super simple to make. The long-sleeve shirt pattern is in my Tutorials, and the jumper is just a variation of the simple KID dress - much shorter bodice, larger armholes and lower neckline.

Heheheeee.....having helpers like this is fine for the photography theme days but perhaps not so helpful for the sewing days! LOL!

That's for sure! But life has to be fun too, even if it does slow me down.
