Somewhere in Time

Naomi took Baron's hand....

"I love you...."

"...and I want to stay. Here with you."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

And she turned to Miho...

"I love your son...."

"...and I'm going to stay."

Miho thought for a moment....

The girl was willing to give up everything for her son. She clearly loved him.

"I realize it's a great sacrifice on your part to make the decision to stay here with Baron, so if you write a letter to your friends, I can send it to them. I think that may ease your mind about what you've left behind."

"Thank you. I really appreciate that. It would make me feel better about it."

Baron swept Naomi up in his arms....

"I love you."

The maid smiled....

..and Miho was happy...

... that her son had found true love at last.

"I love you!"

And he kissed her....

...and this time....

...nothing happened. They stayed where they were.....exactly where they were meant to be. A girl from the future, and a guy from the past, happily ever after, somewhere in time....

Thank you. The story certainly developed a mind of it's own, and turned into quite the saga. The whole story is now complete in Favourite Photos so can be visited as one complete continuous story there any time.

However it's not the last we've seen of Baron and Naomi. I've already started work on an Epilogue to tie up several loose ends from where we left off. It won't be posted for a while yet, as I have several things I need to catch up on first, as well as getting ready for a possible fall road trip up north.

No it can't be over. I was just getting ready to whine that I want more when I read that there will be more. Yeaaa!

I am so excited that you are going on a road trip. That means a great adventure for some of the dolls (and a good time for you and Jan, of course - laugh).

Well, this part of their story is over, and it's been quite the journey. Of course there will be more, but some of my other dolls need a turn too.

This story has occupied my mind for so long that I haven't really thought about who else will be coming along on our trip. Definitely baron and Naomi, but who else?

Dear Martha, you are born storyteller. You have my utmost admiration for building this world full of stories to tell us the tale of Baron and Naomi. Thank you for your devotion, it was amazing journey and I will patiently wait what you come up with for their continuing story. I am pretty sure it will be worth the wait. :-).

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a lot of work, and now I need a break and maybe tackle some of the things that were put on hold the past months. I have a lot of dolls and some of the others need their turn too.
