I didn't take any photos the first 1,000 kilometres into Ontario, but it was clear that autumn had been delayed by several weeks, and all the trees were at peak colour. The dolls first came out along the north shore of Lake Superior... Leona took a 'selfie'... The day was partly sunny with large storm clouds, but at least it was much better than it had been for the last week or so. Near Rainbow Falls Provincial Park, we stopped at a lakeside rest stop... It was nice to see the sun out again now and then.... Coco went looking for interesting pebbles... Lonnie found some nice ones for him too...

Yes, storm clouds kept flying over, and it would rain here and there while the sun was peaking through. We saw lots of rainbows that day.
