I also borrowed a BID cap, and Missy suddenly became a little Tom-boy.....
I've been working on some contemporary play clothes for my Kaye Wiggs girls, after all, they can't stay fairies forever, and it's way too hot out for their warm weather outfits.... So I braved the heat yesterday to take some photos of them.... I started out with the intent to make four new outfits so there would be some choice. Three of them would be like Hope's, with a short jumper over a short-sleeve T-shirt and leggings.... When I was looking through the stretchy knits for fabrics for the T-shirts, I came across one that was from a baby once and had a cute motif on the front. So that outfit ended up with a pouffy skirt that wouldn't cover the T-shirt. Layla chose to wear that outfit... Then I thought the other three outfits, even though different prints and colours, looked too much the same, and then I thought of trying one of my BID's TTYA overalls on Missy. It looked so cute, but the straps were a bit snug. The straps had originally been way too long for my BIDs, so I had basted the back bib shorter. I did have two pairs of the overalls, and only one was being worn, so I took my seam ripper and removed the basting from one of them. It was perfect!

They look really cute, Martha! Missy makes a perfect little Tomboy. Actually the look on her face makes me wonder if that softball she's holding hadn't gone through one of your windows!

They all look so sweet. It different to see them out of their fairy clothes but they are adorable as young ladies. Comments are closed.
