So much for all those other things I had wanted to do this month!
I thought it would be nice to make a 'Peacock' pillow to go on the sofa in the 'Peacock' room, so went looking through my drawer of Aida cloth to find something to embroider it on. However, I came across a miniature needlepoint carpet I started some 30+ years ago for my daughter's 1/12th scale dollhouse. Well, there's no point in finishing the entire thing now, as nothing else would get done the rest of the year, plus I have no use for it, so I decided to just finish The Center section and make it into a throw pillow for the doll's sofa.... The 'lazy' part of me keeps eyeing the part around the outside of the basted pillow outline, thinking how nice it would be if I could just 'Photoshop' all those wasted stitches into the pillow proper - then it would be done already. But no. This is going to require a LOT of actual, physical handwork.
So much for all those other things I had wanted to do this month!

Wow, it is beautiful! I don't know how you do all that you do.

Tiny needlepoint like this quite honestly seems very overwhelming. Not sure I really want to put so much time into just a prop. But then, the middle part that I want to use is already half done.

How beautiful. It will be a lovely addition to your prop collection.

When this picture was taken it was just tapestry wool. However there wasn't enough of several of the colours to finish, so I ended up substituting the closest colour yarn (not in this picture yet) However, I didn't have anything even close to that blue, so had to go buy some matching embroidery floss.
