National Parks Day

Today, August 25th, is National Parks Day. My dolls have been to quite a few, both in the USA and Canada, so I thought I'd share some....

The Badlands of South Dakota....

Olympic National Park in Washington....

Waterton Lakes in Alberta....

The Grand Canyon, Arizona...

White Sands, New Mexico...

Arches, National Park, Utah....

Mount Edith Cavell, Jasper, Alberta...

The Grand Tetons, Wyoming...

Pacific Rim National Park, Vancouver Island, British Columbia...

Icefields Centre, Jasper National Park, Alberta....

Great Sand Dunes National Monument, Colorado...

Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park, British Columbia...

And lots more. It would be nice if we could go visit some of them again.....

I love this travelogue. Some of the places are new to me.

I love that some of the voyagers are contemporary people and some of the voyagers are fantasy people.

I think that I like the last photo the best. It makes me feel so much at home. I want to sit with the children on the rock and just be at peace.

Thanks. The photos are from five different trips, two of which featured contemporary families, and three that had Fantasy groups. It was fun trying to take photos that looked in scale to the dolls.

That last photo at Emerald Lake is one of my favourites. That lodge behind them is also a favourite of photographers, since I see photos of it on Facebook all the time, but usually from a different angle with the mountains on this side of the lake in the background.

Wow! And Emerald Lake is gorgeous. That place would be difficult to leave for me. Your setups and photography are wonderful.

A wonderful tour of National Parks!

The last photo is one of my favourites too. The dolls look like real children.
