My Two Celtic Girls

I took several photos of Lonnie and Lisa in their Celtic outfits over the past few days. It was fun coming up with ways to have them interact with some of my other dolls and art figures. These are some of my favourites.....

I love the photos taken in the snow, but unfortunately it didn't last very long, so had to make do with the usual 'rugged' looking spots in my backyard. I've processed all the photos and put them into a Favourite Photos album. You can see it by clicking on the photo of Lisa above.

Today I need to take the studio shots of Lonnie and Lisa, so I can pack up their outfits and send them off to their new home. There's also going to be some egg-painting happening. In fact Bonnie and Erzulie already have their paint smocks on in eager anticipation.

Oh lucky little Celtic girls getting to have archery lessons and hold a real sword! My girls are ‘dead jealous’ as we say over here! LOL!

And I loved all the extra photos in the album; the ones with Dad in particular I thought were just so sweet!
It was great to see your Art Dolls again too.

And the target was perfect too…..I am glad I got to see it in the end! :)

And now egg painting! What fun!!!

It's nice to be able to use my old dolls in photos with my BJDs. Unfortunately they are all very static and can't be posed, so I have to make the best of whatever pose they are permanently in. I have so many ideas with other figures, but these Celtic outfits need to move on. In some ways doing commissions does have a bright side, as I get the opportunity to take photos of my dolls in outfits I'd never have made on my own - like these super small Celtic outfits.

These outfits and photos are so cool. I love them. They make me want to sew more.
